About Us
My Journey To Shamanic Healing
“Lying flat on my back for 16 days in the 1980s, I was in so much pain that I couldn’t move. It was then that I realized I needed to change my life. I had been literally ‘floored’—stopped in my tracks with nowhere to run or hide.
“During that time, I met a reflexologist who helped me see this as a turning point. The healing I received inspired me to become a reflexologist myself, marking the beginning of my healer’s journey. Everything changed from there.
“In the following years, I noticed some clients healed while others did not. This led me to explore various therapeutic methods—counseling, gestalt, person-centered therapy, psychosynthesis—to understand how the mind affects the body. This exploration allowed me to help more people, yet some clients still didn’t heal.
“As I delved deeper into the healing arts, I began to understand that each of us has a soul’s journey. I asked myself, ‘Why am I here? What am I meant to do with my life?’ I needed to find meaning and purpose beyond the everyday, discovering that creative expression was vital to my well-being.
“This led me to train as a yoga teacher, discover 5 Rhythms dance, and explore ways to use my voice—all ways to push beyond my comfort zone and uncover hidden aspects of myself. I also ran a women’s group for ten years, exploring the sacred feminine, the goddess, and the myths we live by, connecting with Mother Earth through ceremony and ritual.
“These experiences taught me the resilience of the human spirit. I learned that stepping beyond fear creates inner trust and confidence, and facing our fears allows us to liberate ourselves and, in turn, liberate others.
“Ultimately, my path led me to Shamanic Training. Through working with various shamans and incorporating techniques from the Inca tradition and other teachings, I developed a powerful and beautiful training program that felt like the final piece of the puzzle.
“Working at the level of energy affects all aspects of our being—the soul’s journey, the mental, emotional, and physical bodies. I’ve learned that this is a sacred journey towards wholeness, and the more I heal myself, the more I positively impact those around me.
“This is the work I do in the world—it’s the gift I bring. My medicine stones form a powerful healing tool called a Mesa. My Mesa holds wisdom from personal healing and transformation, turning stories of powerlessness into power, pain into compassion, and suffering into ancient wisdom passed down through generations.
“And now, I teach others how to build theirs.”

The medicine is a mirror, reflecting my purpose and truth. The shamanic path teaches me to celebrate my flaws and trust my instincts. For the first time in my life, I have permission to dream, play, and use my voice for the highest good. At Spirit of the Inca, I have found integrity, wonder and friendship.
