The name of these rites, Munay Ki, originates from the Quechuan word for love, Munay. However, this is not the kind of love we may be more familiar with. Munay is not merely an emotion; it is pure energy. It embodies:
- The great Love that Pachamama (Mother Earth) has for us
- The light that Inti Tayta (Father Sun) shines upon us
- Munay as Unconditional Love
While the word Ki is not Quechuan, it represents the healing power of these rites and their ability to help you achieve greater harmony. According to this tradition, there are three power centers within the body:
- Yanchay, the power of Wisdom, located in the 6th chakra
- Munay, the power of Love, centered in the heart
- Yan’kay, the power of Service, rooted in the belly
As these archetypal energies are integrated into our energy fields, we become vessels capable of holding a new vision for Earth. Together, we consciously co-create a world where everyone feels a deep sense of belonging, leads lives filled with meaning and purpose, and lives in right relationship with all beings.
